OPEN STUDIO
Ages: 16 months - 12 years
Let your creativity lead the way at our Open Studio sessions! Grownups and their littles are welcomed to explore our studio materials and find inspiration from various stations set up with invitations to create. Unlike a structured class, this open-ended studio time is more flexible, with a longer window for self-led creation on your own timeline. When led by Ms. Laura, the session will emphasize art; Ms. Miriam’s sessions will incorporate more music & movement!
SUNRISE STUDIO
Ages: 16 months - 12 years
You’re awake, your kids are awake, you need to get out of the house! We understand. We’ll make coffee! Come create and play with friends in this open studio-style class with stations for sensory play and age appropriate art and/or music experiences. When led by Ms. Laura, the session will emphasize art; Ms. Miriam’s sessions will incorporate more music & movement!
MAGIC MONDAY
Ages: 16 months - 12 years
Add a little magic to your Monday! Start your week at a slower pace during this extended Open Studio session. Grownups and their littles are welcomed to explore our studio materials and find inspiration from various stations set up with invitations to create. Unlike a structured class, this open-ended studio time is more flexible, with an extra-long window for self-led creation on your own timeline. When led by Ms. Laura, the session will emphasize art; Ms. Miriam’s sessions will incorporate more music & movement!
HAPPIEST HOUR
Ages: 16 months - 12 years
Open Studio, but make it a party! Join us on Fridays for a casual celebration of the week’s end. With stations set up both inside the studio and out on the patio (weather permitting), grownups and their littles are welcomed to explore art & music, connect with other families, and even bring a picnic or enjoy a to-go meal from one of our restaurant neighbors! When led by Ms. Laura, the session will emphasize art; Ms. Miriam’s sessions will incorporate more music & movement!
MINDFUL & MUSICAL: BABY BIRD
Ages: Newborns - Crawlers
Enjoy Ms. Miriam’s popular Mindful & Musical classes in our cozy studio environment! Baby Bird is a sweet, interactive gathering of babies and their caregivers. It’s a perfect time to engage with your new little one and to give and receive support from other grown-ups.

CREATIVE LAB
Ages: 8-12 years
Kids ages 8-12 can enjoy our Creative Lab, a self-guided space filled with rotating art prompts, building materials, and maker activities designed for independent creators. This experience is available during all of our classes; simply include your older child in your ticket count when registering!
MINDFUL & MUSICAL: LITTLE BIRD
Ages: 5 and under
Enjoy Ms. Miriam’s popular Mindful & Musical classes in our cozy studio environment! This fun, interactive music and movement class is for little ones to enjoy with their caregivers. The music and activities will be geared towards children ages 5 and under, but siblings of all ages are welcome to have fun together!

The music, baby massage, movement and sensory exploration are geared toward babies, but older siblings of all ages are welcome to engage in a morning of fun with their littlest sibling!
You can arrive 15 minutes ahead of time if you'd like to settle in, choose a yoga mat for your family, explore instruments and get to know other attendants. At the start of class Ms. Miriam leads the way with a very brief welcome before diving in! We will also provide a baby scale for weighing your little ones at class.

We will offer small group process art and exploratory music classes. Most of the time art and music will be different classes, but sometimes we’ll put them together for combination classes to create something even more special for children.

We think the sweet spot will cap at about 15 children plus their grownups for music. Art may open to 18-20. Our space is brand new to us and we want to make sure kids have space to explore and move about comfortably and happily. We will adjust class sizes for the best fit.

Our calendar is almost ready! You’ll be able to go to our website, select the class, date and time you’d like to take a come play and register right then and there. We encourage preregistration as classes will likely fill in our intimate space.

Process art focuses on what’s happening during the making process and not on the end result. At Let’s Play! Studio, art making materials will be offered for children to explore how they wish rather than setting up projects where children follow steps to create a specific work of art.

SO much!! Children are learning to follow directions all day long at home and in traditional classrooms. Process art removes the directions and lets children become their own teachers. Children learn to trust their own instincts as they make decisions about what colors to use, how to attach materials together, and to wonder what will happen when they try to use materials in different ways. Process art looks a lot like play. Play is essential to the creative life.
